The Jute Shop

You can find us over at Ridgewood Estate in DLF Phase 4, specifically at unit D 75. The Jute Shop is a small place, but it stays full with all kinds of stuff made from jute. Most of the time, the room smells a bit like earth and dry grass because of all the stock we have piled up. We have been operating out of this spot for a while, and the neighbors in the estate know us pretty well by now. It is not like a big mall store where everything is shiny. We have stacks of bags and rolls of material just sitting around where they fit. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a new shipment comes in. We spend the afternoon sorting through things and making sure everything is in the right pile. People stop by to look at the different textures or just to chat for a bit while they are out walking. It is a fairly relaxed way to spend the day. We do not have any big fancy displays, just the products themselves. The lighting isn't the best in the back corner, but we know where everything is kept. Working with jute is messy sometimes because of the fibers that fly around, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized in our own way. It is a simple business and we like the people who visit.
