Sarehja Atleisure Private Limited operates from the third floor of House Number 15, E-6, in DLF Phase 1. Being on the third floor means we get a bit of a view, but it also means a lot of stairs when the lift is acting up. DLF Phase 1 is a well-known area in Gurgaon and it’s a decent place for a business like ours. We focus on leisure wear and active clothing, so we have a lot of samples lying around the office. The space isn't huge, so we have to be smart about where we put everything. We don't have a big corporate team; it is mostly just a few of us handling the orders and checking the fabric quality. The environment is pretty relaxed most of the time, though it gets a bit frantic when a deadline is coming up. We like being in this part of town because everything is close by. We don't spend money on expensive decorations or office furniture. We’d rather use that space for more stock. It’s an honest way to run things. We make our own schedules and try to stay on top of the paperwork. There are no big meetings or fancy presentations here. We just talk across the desks to get things sorted. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it has worked for us so far in this busy city.
