Our office is set up on the second floor of House Number 53 in Sheetla Colony. It is right opposite Sector 5 in Gurgaon. If you've ever been to this part of town, you know it’s a mix of homes and small businesses all crammed together. We aren't in one of those tall glass buildings on the Cyber City side. We are in the older, busier part of Gurgaon where the streets are narrow and there’s always something happening outside. We deal with clothes, so the second floor is usually filled with racks of samples and boxes ready to be shipped. It gets pretty crowded in here, especially when we are finishing up a big batch of shirts or pants. We have a few sewing machines and a lot of cutting tables that take up most of the space. The light isn't always the best, but we make it work. Most of us live nearby and walk to work. We don't really have a big fancy sign outside, just the house number and our name on a small board. We spend our days making sure the stitching is right and the buttons are on tight. It’s not glamorous, but it is what we do. We talk about the weather and the traffic while we work. It’s a very normal, local business. We don't try to impress anyone with big words. We just focus on the clothes and getting them out the door every single evening, no matter how tired we are at the end. It is just our way.
