Ration Bazaar

Our shop is over at No. 3369 in Sector 23 D. It is a local place where we keep the shelves stocked with all the basic stuff people need for their kitchens. We spend a lot of time unpacking boxes and trying to fit everything onto the shelves so it looks halfway decent. It isn't a massive supermarket, just a regular bazaar where you can find your grains, spices, and other daily essentials. In Sector 23, we see a lot of the same faces every week. We know who likes what and who is going to complain about the price of lentils going up. Ration Bazaar is a bit cramped because we try to carry as much variety as possible. There is always a stack of crates near the back that we haven't gotten around to moving yet. We don't have a corporate office or a marketing department. It is just us behind the counter, ringing up orders and chatting with the neighbors. Sometimes the power goes out or a delivery truck gets lost, but we just deal with it. It’s a pretty basic way to run a business, but it works for us. We focus on keeping the inventory fresh and making sure we don't run out of the things people use every day. It is a lot of lifting and counting, but it keeps the neighborhood fed and keeps us busy from morning until evening.
