Prerna Provision Store

We’ve been here in Gujrada for a good while now, right near the IT Park area where things are always busy. My family started Prerna Provision Store because there wasn't much around at the time, and we just stayed. The shop isn't huge, just enough room for the essentials like flour, sugar, and the biscuits people like. Most mornings I’m here by seven to get the shutters up before the first office workers start walking past. It gets dusty because of the road work nearby, but that’s just how it is. Sometimes the tea guy from next door comes over and we talk about the news or how hot it’s getting this year. We don't have fancy displays or those neon lights you see in the big malls. It’s mostly just wooden shelves and some old crates for the cold drinks. If someone needs something and we don't have it, I usually try to get it on the next delivery day. I've been thinking about getting a new rug for the front, but the one we have still works okay for now. The neighbors know us by name, and we know who likes which brand of soap or tea. It’s a quiet life mostly, even with all the cars zooming toward the IT offices. We just keep the inventory moving and make sure the bags are tied tight so nothing spills. It's not a complicated business, just a lot of lifting and counting change throughout the day until we close up at nine.
