Poonam Industries

Our place is located at Plot No. 573 in Sector-58, right in the heart of the electroplating zone. It’s an area where everyone is doing similar work, so the air always has that distinct industrial smell. Poonam Industries is basically a big shed where we handle different parts that need coating. We have these large tanks and racks that we use every day. It's not the cleanest job in the world, but it needs to get done. We usually start the day early, checking the levels in the tanks and getting the heaters going. Most of us here have been doing this for a long time, so we know the rhythms of the machines. There’s no big reception desk or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone in boots working near the back. We focus on getting the layers right so the parts don't rust later on. Sometimes the weather makes the drying take longer, which is a bit of a headache, but we manage. We don’t have a marketing team or a fancy website. Most of our work comes from other shops nearby who need their metal treated. We keep our heads down and just do the work. The floor is usually wet from the rinsing process, and there’s always a bit of noise from the exhaust fans running to keep the air moving. It’s just a normal shop doing its part in the zone, and we stay busy enough without needing to brag.
