Needs Supermarket

Needs Supermarket is located over at Shop No. C-001 in DLF Phase 4, right inside Super Mart 1. If you live in this part of Gurgaon, you probably pass by us quite a bit. The shop is basically what you’d expect from a local supermarket. We have the usual aisles filled with groceries, some snacks, and household cleaning stuff. It gets pretty hectic in the evenings when everyone is coming home from their offices and they realize they forgot to buy eggs or sugar. We spend a lot of time just unpacking crates and trying to find room for everything on the shelves because the space fills up fast. It is a bit of a squeeze sometimes when the delivery guys come at the same time as the customers. We’ve been here in Super Mart 1 for a while, so we recognize most of the faces that walk through the door. There isn't any big secret to how we run things, we just look at what is running out and try to order more before the weekend hits. The air conditioning works most of the time which is a relief during the summer months in Gurgaon. We just keep our heads down and handle the billing. It’s just a regular place to pick up your daily essentials without making a big deal out of it. The floor can get a bit scuffed from all the trolleys, but we mop it when we can. It’s just the daily grind of keeping a supermarket going.
