Max Mart

Max Mart is located at Sco No- 83 in the Huda Market of Sector 10A. We are not too far from Hero Honda Chowk, which is a major landmark for anyone living in Gurgaon. Even though the name sounds a bit big, we are just a local grocery store for the people nearby. We have all the usual stuff like packaged foods, dairy, and cleaning supplies. The shelves are packed pretty tight. I spend most of my day making sure everything is in the right place and that nothing has expired. It’s a constant cycle of checking labels and restocking. The traffic around the market can be a nightmare in the evenings, so that’s when we get the most people stopping by on their way home. My younger brother handles the delivery bike while I stay at the counter. We don't have a lot of space for people to lounge around, so it's a quick in-and-out kind of place. Sometimes the computer for billing acts up, and we have to do things by hand, which slows everything down. It’s frustrating, but the customers are usually patient since they live just a few blocks away. We aren't looking to expand or do anything grand. We just want to make sure the milk is fresh and the shelves aren't empty when someone needs something for dinner. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in a busy city like this one.
