Marks & Spencer, London

This is our spot for Marks & Spencer, London, located at 172 Sector 7 in the Urban Estate area of Gurgaon. It’s a pretty standard setup in Haryana, 122001. Being in Sector 7 means we are right in the middle of a residential and commercial mix. It’s not as flashy as the newer parts of Gurgaon with all those tall glass buildings, but it works for us. The office is straightforward. We have our desks, some chairs for visitors, and plenty of files that seem to grow every week. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just coordinating things between different departments. The morning commute can be a bit of a struggle sometimes with the local traffic, but once you’re inside, it’s just about getting to work. We don't have any big corporate slogans on the walls. It’s just us doing the day-to-day tasks. Sometimes we order in food from the local stalls nearby, which is a nice break. The weather in Gurgaon can be really tough, especially when it’s dusty or really hot, but the office stays okay. We just keep our heads down and handle whatever comes our way. It’s a very practical way of working. No one is wearing a suit and tie unless they really have to. We just prefer to keep things simple and get the job done without making it more complicated than it needs to be.
