Laxmi General Store

Laxmi General Store is tucked away in the residential part of Huda Sector 17 A, at house number 79. Since we are in a quiet sector, the vibe here is much more relaxed than the big markets in the city. We mostly see the same neighbors every day. We set the shop up to be a convenient place for families nearby to grab things without having to drive a long way. We stock the usual daily necessities like bread, milk, snacks, and some basic stationery that kids might need for their school projects. The shop is not very large, but we use every bit of space we have on the walls and shelves. Sometimes when the delivery truck comes, the boxes stay in the middle of the aisle for a little while until we can get them put away. We make sure the dairy and bread are fresh every morning. It is nice being in this sector because you get to know the families and see the kids grow up over the years. We do not have any big fancy signs or loud music playing. People just know we are here at number 79 when they run out of something in their kitchen. In the hot afternoons, it gets very quiet, and we just wait for the evening when people come out for their walks and stop in. It is a simple life running a neighborhood store like this one.
