Kissn Mart

We've been running Kissn Mart here on M G Road for a while now. It’s a busy spot, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home and stops in for a few things. The address is 412, right in the middle of the action. Most days it is just us making sure the shelves are filled up and checking that everything is where it should be. Sometimes the delivery trucks arrive late and we have to scramble a bit to get everything unloaded before the rush starts. It gets a bit dusty with all the traffic outside on M G Road but we try to keep the place tidy enough for folks. We don’t have a massive team or anything, just a few of us who know most of the regulars by name now. You see the same faces every Tuesday or Friday. It's funny how you start to notice what people buy every week without even trying. If the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just open the doors wide and keep going as long as there is light. It’s not a fancy setup, just a regular shop where you can find what you need without a lot of fuss. We spend a lot of time just moving boxes around and making sure the prices are marked right on the stickers. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until we lock up late at night.
