Khemani Exports

We have our office at H.No. 248, right on the ground floor in the Housing Board Colony. It is located in Sector 40. This isn't one of those high-rise corporate buildings you see in the city. It’s a regular house where we’ve set up our desks and computers for Khemani Exports. We’ve been here for a long time and the neighbors all know us by now. The street gets a bit busy in the mornings when people are heading to work. We mostly spend our time on the phone or tracking shipments on the screen. It can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of paperwork piling up, but we manage just fine. There is a small tea stall just around the corner where we usually go for breaks. The ground floor stays relatively cool even when it’s hot outside, which is a plus. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. People who need to find us usually just ask for the house number. The work we do involves a lot of back and forth with suppliers. Some days are really quiet and other days the phone won't stop ringing. We just take it as it comes. It's a simple setup but it works for what we need to do every day. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. It’s just a local business run out of a colony house.
