Jyoti Engineering Works

We are at Plot No. 65 in Sector-2, which is right next to the Hsit Industrial Area. It’s a busy place with trucks coming and going all day long. We do general engineering stuff. We have lathes, milling machines, and a few drills. People come in with drawings or sometimes just a broken piece of machinery and ask if we can make a new one. It isn't always easy. Some of the older machines we work on don't have parts anymore, so we have to figure it out as we go. We spend a lot of our time with rulers and calipers measuring things down to the millimeter. The shop gets very loud when all the machines are running at the same time. We have been in this same spot for a long time. It’s a bit crowded inside because we tend to keep every scrap of metal, thinking we might need it for a small job later. We don't have a fancy office or a receptionist. Usually, one of the guys just wipes his hands on a greasy rag and picks up the phone if it rings. We just do the work that comes through the door. Some jobs take five minutes and others take a few days. We don't mind either way. It’s just how the days go here in Sector-2. If you are looking for us, we are right by the main road. The sign is fading, but we're still here.
