We are set up on the ground floor of House Number 579 in Sector 47. It is a quiet residential street, which makes it a nice change from the busier parts of the city. Since we are on the ground floor, it is pretty easy for the guys to stop by and drop off materials or for us to head out to a site quickly. We do construction work, mostly around this side of town. The office isn't anything special; it is basically just a front room with a couple of desks and a lot of paper. We have a small window that looks out onto the street where we can see the neighbors walking by. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when the whole crew is here at once to discuss a new build. Construction involves a lot of details that people don't always see, like getting the permits right and making sure the supplies arrive on time. We spend a lot of our afternoons driving between different locations to check on how things are progressing. Sector 47 has grown a lot since we first started out here, and there is always something new happening on the next block. We keep a stash of biscuits and some tea fixings in the corner for when the days get long. It is a steady kind of life, working with our hands and making sure the buildings go up the way they should without any unnecessary delays.
