Our place is tucked away in Safdarjung Enclave, specifically at A 2 35. It’s a pretty well-known part of Delhi, but our street stays relatively quiet compared to the main roads. It’s just a simple setup here. I spend most of my time dealing with the daily tasks that come up, nothing too fancy. The building has been here for a while, and it feels solid. You can see the trees from the front step, which is nice when the weather isn't too hot. In the summer, we mostly stay inside with the cooler running. It’s not a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a workspace that fits what we need. Sometimes the neighbors walk their dogs past the door, and you hear the usual sounds of the neighborhood. I’ve lived and worked in Delhi long enough to appreciate a spot that isn't right in the middle of a market. We don't have a big sign or flashy lights. It’s just Joseph’s place, really. We handle whatever work comes in, usually one thing at a time. The mail arrives around noon, and that’s often the highlight of the morning. It’s a practical way to live and work. There’s a small kitchen area where we make coffee, and that’s where most of the breaks happen. It’s just a normal day-to-day existence here in the Enclave. There’s a small park nearby where I sometimes sit for a few minutes if the house feels too quiet. The street lighting is a bit dim at night, but it's a safe enough area.
