We operate Jd Construction Contractor Private Limited from our place in Sector 102 of Gurugram. Specifically, we are at A 2103 in the Adani Oyester Grande. It is one of those tall apartment buildings that have popped up all over Gurgaon lately. Working as construction contractors from a high-rise might seem a bit funny, but that is where we keep our main office and handle the management side of things. Most of our actual work happens at the various sites we are managing around the city. Gurgaon is always under construction, so there is never a shortage of things to do. We spend a lot of time traveling between the office and the job sites. We deal with all the headaches that come with building—permits, labor, material delays, and the weather. Our apartment office is usually filled with rolled-up drawings and samples of tiles or paint. We do not have a big staff of people in suits. It is mostly just us and a few supervisors who come in to give reports. We try to be straightforward with the people we work for.
