Jai Provision Store

You can find Jai Provision Store right in the heart of the Sadar Bazar Main Market Area. It’s a hectic place to be, but we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. The noise from the street is constant, with rickshaws and people always moving. Our store is filled with bags of grain, spices, and all the usual stuff people need for their kitchens. It smells like a mix of everything in here. We spend a lot of our day weighing things out and chatting with the regulars. Some people have been buying from us for decades. We don’t have a fancy checkout system or anything. We just write things down and keep moving. The floors are old stone and they’ve seen a lot of sacks being dragged across them. Sadar Bazar is the kind of place where you have to know your way around. If you’re new, it can be a bit overwhelming. But once you find us, we’re easy to remember. We stay open late most nights because that’s when a lot of workers finish their shifts and need to pick up supplies. It gets hot in the summer, especially with no big windows, but we have a couple of old fans that do the job. We aren't trying to be the biggest store, just a reliable one for the neighborhood. It’s hard work, lifting heavy bags and standing all day, but it’s what we know.
