You’ll find us at F-504 in Maple Heights, which is over in Sushant Lok Phase I, C Block in Gurgaon. It’s an apartment building, and that is where we run our office operations. Even though the name is big, this specific location is more about the back-end stuff. We handle a lot of the coordination and paperwork that goes into running hotels. The office feels more like a home because it actually is an apartment. We have desks set up in the different rooms and the dining area is where we usually have our meetings. It’s a bit unusual but it works for us. Gurgaon is always growing, and being in Sushant Lok means we are right in the middle of it all. We don’t have a fancy lobby with a fountain or anything like that. It’s just us, some printers, and a whole lot of files. Sometimes the elevator in the building is slow, so we end up waiting around a lot. We spend most of the day on emails or talking to the different hotel properties to see what they need. It’s a lot of logistics and making sure everything is where it should be. We’ve been here for a while and have gotten to know the other people in the building. It’s a quiet spot for the most part, which helps when we have to focus on the numbers and the planning for our hotels.
