Jaypee Siddharth Hotel, New Delhi

Even though the name says New Delhi, we are actually situated over in Sector-40, Greenwood City in Gurgaon. It’s on Plot-30 in Block-G. It’s a bit of a funny thing with the names, but that’s just how it ended up. We’ve been operating out of this Haryana location for a good while. The hotel is a place where we see people coming in from all over. Some are staying for business meetings in Gurgaon, while others are just passing through the NCR. We have a lot of rooms to look after, so there is always someone cleaning or fixing something. It’s a busy environment. The staff here are mostly folks who live nearby and commute in every day. We don't go for any of that corporate jargon you hear at big chains. We just try to make sure guests have what they need. If a lightbulb goes out, we change it. If someone is hungry, we get them food. It’s pretty simple when you think about it. The area around Greenwood City is relatively quiet compared to the main city, which is nice for the guests. We’ve got a few different floors and a lobby where people hang out. It’s not perfect, but we put in the effort every day. We’ve been part of the local landscape here for a long time and plan to stay for much longer.
