Aamod Resort

Our office is way up on the 10th floor of the Galleria building in DLF 4, Gurgaon. It’s a different world up here compared to the actual resorts we manage. Down on the street, it’s all traffic and people heading to the shops, but up here in rooms 1002 and 1004, it’s mostly just the sound of keyboards and phones ringing. We spend our days planning trips for people who want to get away from the city noise. It’s ironic because we’re right in the middle of it. The view from the window is just more buildings and the metro line. We don't have a big corporate feel. Our desks are a bit messy with brochures and coffee mugs. We’re a small team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the main line to fixing the printer. It’s a lot of coordination. We talk to the property managers out in the woods or the hills all day long. Sometimes we wish we were out there instead of in this office block. But this is where the bookings happen. People come in occasionally to talk about their holiday plans, but mostly it’s all over the phone. We keep it simple and honest. We’ll tell you if a place is fully booked or if the weather is bad. It’s just how we work. Dealing with city life while selling nature is our daily grind.
