Intercontinental, The Grand

Our company is called Intercontinental, The Grand, but we aren't a big hotel or anything like that. We are located at House No. 132 in Choma Gaon, near Palam Vihar in Gurgaon, Haryana. It’s a bit of a grand name for such a simple place, but it’s what we’ve always been called. We operate out of a regular house in the village area. Choma Gaon has changed a lot as Gurgaon has grown up around it, but our little spot stays pretty much the same. We aren't in one of those shiny glass buildings you see in the rest of the city. We’re just a small group of people working out of a home. It makes the whole thing feel more personal and less like a cold business. We don't have any corporate layers or fancy titles here. We just sit down and get the work done. There is no big lobby or receptionist to greet you. It’s just us. We focus on our daily tasks and try to stay out of the way. We don't do any big advertising or have a marketing team writing stuff for us. We just let the work speak for itself. It’s a very practical and humble way to run things. We’ve been in this house for a while now and we are quite comfortable here. It’s a simple life and we like the way we do things in Choma Gaon. No one around here makes a big deal of it.
