Our office is on the first floor of Uppal Southend, S 233, right on Sohna Road in Gurgaon. It’s a modern enough building but we keep our part of it pretty low-key. House Of Pearl Fashion Ltd has been operating out of here for a bit. Gurgaon is always changing with new buildings coming up, but we stay focused on our tasks. The first floor is usually quiet enough to get things done. We have a few desks and some samples laying around. It isn't a showroom where everything is perfect. It’s a workspace. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. Sometimes we have meetings that go longer than they should. My colleagues and I have been working together for a long time so we know how each other works. We don't have a big PR team writing stories about us. We’re just regular people trying to keep the business moving forward in 122001. The commute on Sohna Road can be a nightmare sometimes with the traffic, but once we’re inside, it’s okay. We drink way too much coffee from the machine in the corner. If you’re looking for us, just take the stairs up to the first floor. We don't always have the lights on in every room, but someone is usually here. It’s a practical place for practical work and we just get on with it.
