Homtree Projects is based in FF 175 at The Sapphire, which is a well-known spot in Sector 49 along the Sohna Road in Gurugram. Being in a commercial complex like The Sapphire means there is always a lot going on around us. There are shops on the lower floors and other offices nearby, so we see a lot of different faces every day. Our space is on the first floor, and it’s a decent-sized room where we have all our stuff set up. The elevators are sometimes slow, so most of us just take the stairs to get to work. Sohna Road traffic is pretty famous for being bad, so we all try to arrive early to avoid the worst of it. The office itself is just a regular work area with some bright lights and a few plants that someone brought in to make it look a bit better. We have a small table for meetings, but mostly we just chat across our desks while we work. There are plenty of places to grab a quick snack downstairs, which is handy when we are working through lunch. It’s a professional enough environment but we keep it pretty casual among ourselves. We don't really go for the whole corporate vibe, we just focus on getting through our list of things to do. The air conditioning is a life saver during the summer months here.
