Holy Family Convent Senior Secondary School Khurai sits on Plot 69-71 along the Dlf Golf Course Road in Sector 53. It’s a very modern part of Gurgaon now, with all the big glass buildings and fancy apartments around us. But inside our gates, things are a lot more down-to-earth. We have a good amount of space across these three plots, which is nice for a senior secondary school. The students here are a bit older, so they are busy preparing for their big exams and thinking about what comes next. Even though the neighborhood has changed a lot since we first started, the school feels much the same. We still have the same brick and mortar feel. The noise from the traffic on Golf Course Road is always there in the background, but we’ve grown used to it over the years. We don't really do much in the way of promotion or big events. Usually, we are just busy with the daily schedule of classes and labs. The teachers here are practical people who have been teaching for years. They don't use much jargon; they just explain things in a way that makes sense. Sometimes the playground gets a bit dusty when the wind blows, or the hallways get crowded between periods, but it’s all part of the daily grind. We are just a regular school trying to help students finish their education in a busy city. It’s a bit of work but we like it.
