Hemant Provision Store

Our store is right across from Sunrise Hospital on the Main Khandsa Road. We are part of the Anaj Mandi area, so there’s always a lot of movement around here. Trucks, carts, and people are everywhere from early morning. We sell provisions—basically the stuff you need for your kitchen every day. Lentils, flour, spices, that kind of thing. The air always smells like a mix of different spices. It can be quite loud with the hospital traffic and the market noise. We don't have a lot of space for customers to lounge around. You come in, tell us what you need, we weigh it out, and you’re on your way. Sometimes the queue gets long and people get a bit impatient, but we move as fast as we can. The floor is concrete and a bit worn down from all the boots walking over it. We’ve been on Khandsa Road for years. We know which neighbors like which brand of tea. It’s a community feel, even if it’s busy. We don't use fancy computers for everything; a lot of it is still done by hand. It’s just a honest day's work for us here in the mandi. We keep a big calendar on the wall to track deliveries. It’s a simple setup, but it’s been working for us for a long time and we don't plan on changing much. The front door is a bit heavy and creaks, but we know when someone is coming in.
