You will find us at Deepak Luthra’s place, which is House No 398, on the first floor in Sector-14 of Gurgaon. It is a residential sector that has quite a few small businesses tucked away inside it. We have been working from this floor for a good while. The stairs can be a bit steep, so we always tell people to watch their step. We do clothing work here. It is not a massive factory, just a quiet space where we focus on the garments. There are always stacks of cloth and paper patterns sitting on the tables. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist; you just walk in and see us working. Gurgaon has grown so much with its malls and glass buildings, but we prefer to stay small. It is easier for us to manage things that way. We don't bother with any marketing talk or fancy brochures. We just tell our customers what we can do and then we get it done. Most of the people we work with found us through someone else they know. It is a simple operation with a few sewing machines and a large cutting table. The sunlight comes in nice through the windows in the afternoon. We drink tea and keep the needles moving. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a deadline is close, but we always manage. It is a local business run by real people.
