You can find us on the second floor of B-80 in Vipul World, over in Sector 48. It’s a decent spot in Gurgaon, right near the Eldeco Mansionz. The office is actually inside a residential block, so it feels more like working from home than a real office. We do clothing and apparel work here. It’s mostly just us surrounded by racks of clothes and yellow measuring tapes. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit narrow, especially when we’re carrying heavy boxes up and down. We’ve got a small balcony where we keep some potted plants that we keep forgetting to water properly. Fashstory Apparels is what we call ourselves on our paperwork. We spend a lot of time checking different fabrics and talking to tailors about the stitching. The neighborhood is pretty quiet during the day, which helps us focus on our tasks. We don't have a big corporate lobby or a sign. When you walk in, you're pretty much in the middle of everything we are doing. We have a small wooden table where we eat our lunch together. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we have to wait for the building backup to kick in. It’s a very simple setup. We’ve been here for a little while now and we know most of the neighbors. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us making sure the orders are right. We try to keep things moving along every day.
