Fashion Per Inch

Fashion Per Inch is based over in Sushant Lok. It is a neighborhood that has changed a lot over the years, but we have stayed here doing our work. The name of the shop is something we put a lot of thought into because we really do look at every inch of what we are making. We aren’t a massive factory or anything like that. It is a smaller operation where we can actually see everything that is going on. The space in Sushant Lok is where we do all the cutting, stitching, and finishing. It is usually pretty cluttered because we always have a few projects going at once. You might see a stack of buttons on one table and some lace on another. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If someone comes by, they just see us in the middle of working. We find that being in a residential-commercial mix like Sushant Lok makes it easy for us to stay connected to the community. We get our supplies nearby and we know the other shop owners on the block. Some days the weather is hot and we keep the fans going full blast while we work on the heavier fabrics. Other days it is quiet and we can really focus on the tricky parts of a design. We don’t use a lot of big words or marketing talk. We just like making clothes and we do it right here in our little spot in Sushant Lok.
