We work out of a basement in Suncity, Sector 54, which is in the heart of Gurgaon. The address is B-19, and even though it's a basement, we've tried to make it a decent place to work. It stays naturally cool in the summer, which is a big plus because Gurgaon heat is no joke. We handle all the fashion work for Ecosuut Fashions from this one spot. It’s basically one big room filled with racks of clothes and a couple of desks for the computer work. Sector 54 is a busy area with lots of big apartments nearby, so there's always something going on outside. We usually hear the cars and the people walking by on the sidewalk above us. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when a new shipment arrives, and we have to stack the boxes wherever they’ll fit. We spend most of our time checking the quality of the suits and dresses. It’s a small operation, just a handful of us making sure everything is in order. We don't have a big storefront, so we don't get many walk-ins, which lets us focus on the work. Lunch is usually a quick affair, sometimes we go up to the local market for a bite. It’s a steady job and we’ve gotten used to the basement life over the years. It's quiet and we get a lot done without many distractions.
