Dudeja City Arts

We’ve been here at Old Delhi Rd for quite a while now. It’s right opposite Ajit Cinema, so most people around Gurgaon know where that is. Dudeja City Arts is just a small place we run. We handle various art things and local projects that come our way. Sometimes it gets really busy, and other times it’s pretty quiet. We just do the work that people bring in. My family helped start this, and we’ve stayed in this spot because it’s where we feel at home. The traffic outside is always something else, but we have gotten used to the noise over the years. We keep our tools ready and wait for customers to walk in through the door. It isn't anything fancy or high-end. It is just a workspace with some paint, brushes, and materials scattered around on the tables. Usually, I’m the one opening the shutters every morning. We see people heading to the cinema all day long. We just focus on getting the orders done right and on time. People come by to ask questions about framing or making signs, and we try to help them out as best as we can. It is a simple setup. Nothing is too complicated here. We use the small space we have. Most of our neighbors are shopkeepers too. We talk to them while having tea during the breaks. That’s how it goes every day at Dudeja City Arts. We don’t have a big team.
