Living and working out of Aman Apartment in Sector 14 has its own rhythm. B 8 is where I usually am, right near the Shiv Mandir. The temple bells are quite nice in the mornings and evenings, it gives the place a calm feeling even when the street gets crowded. I have been doing this for a while now from home. It isn't a big corporate setup with a receptionist or anything like that. When people come over to discuss things, we usually just sit in the living area and talk. Sometimes the neighbors are a bit loud in the hallway, but that is just how apartment life is in Gurgaon. I handle my own paperwork and keep everything in folders that only I can understand. It might seem a bit disorganized to an outsider but I know where every single page is. My day starts early with some coffee and then I get to the tasks I have for the day. Being close to the market is helpful when I need supplies or just a quick walk. Most people who know me find me through word of mouth or they just live nearby and saw the name plate. It is a quiet way to earn a living without all the rush of a big office building. I like the flexibility of being here and handling things my own way without any boss looking over my shoulder.
