Copal Art P Ltd

Our place, Copal Art P Ltd, is on the first floor of Block J in May Field Garden, Gurgaon. We are at 105. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but once you’re here, it’s usually quite peaceful. Gurgaon can be a very loud and fast-paced city, but this corner of May Field Garden stays relatively quiet. We have art pieces leaned up against the walls and some frames waiting to be worked on. There’s a faint smell of paint and wood shavings if you stand near the back. It’s not a big corporate gallery. It feels more like a workshop where things actually get made and handled. The floor is tile and sometimes has a few bits of packing material scattered around. We have some large tables where we lay things out to take a look at them. The light comes in through the front windows, which is good for seeing the colors properly. We’ve been in 122001 for a while now. Most of the time, we’re just busy with the daily chores of running an art business, which involves more heavy lifting and bubble wrap than you might think. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where every canvas and brush is kept. We just come in, do the work, and head home like everyone else in the block. It’s a solid routine.
