Ramjeet Art Gallery

We are located right near the motor stand on the Main Sector Road in DLF City Phase II. The shop is filled with frames and canvases leaning against the walls. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes because we have so many different sizes of wood for the framing. You can usually hear the sound of the saw cutting through the moldings in the back room. There is always a layer of fine sawdust on the glass if we don't wipe it down every hour. People bring in their photos or paintings they bought on holiday, and we help them pick something that looks okay. We don't have a big fancy showroom. It is more of a workshop where things actually get made. Sometimes we have local artists stop by to look at supplies. The light comes in through the front window and hits the stacks of paper we keep for sketches. It is a quiet place compared to the traffic outside by the motor stand. We spend our afternoons hammering small nails and making sure the corners of the frames line up right. It takes a steady hand. My hands are usually a bit stained from the wood polish or the glue we use. We’ve been here for quite some time, just doing this one thing every day. It’s a simple life surrounded by art and wood.
