Dhiman Engineering Works

Our workshop is tucked away in Devi Nagar, specifically over in Sector 3. If you are coming down the street, you need to look for the first street on the left side. It’s not too far from the Golf Course, though we don't spend any time there ourselves. We are too busy with the lathes and the welding machines. People usually find us by word of mouth or by spotting the sign when they take a wrong turn near the course. The shop stays quite cool in the mornings, but once the sun hits the roof, it gets warm. We’ve had this space for a good bit of time, and it has seen a lot of different projects pass through the doors. Some days it is just small repair jobs that take twenty minutes, and other days we are stuck on a complex piece of machining for a week straight. We keep a lot of spare parts and metal stock piled up in the corners, which makes the place look a bit messy, but it’s practical for what we do. The neighbors are mostly used to the sound of metal hitting metal by now. Being in a residential sector means we try to keep the noise down late in the evening, but sometimes when a job is urgent, we stay a bit later. It is a straightforward operation here. No one wears a tie, and we usually have tea sitting on a workbench while we talk through a problem.
