We've been here at the Bristol Hotel lobby for a good while now, specifically in shops 108 to 110. It’s a quiet corner in Sikandarpur, DLF. People usually walk past us on their way to meetings or staying at the hotel, and some stop in to look at the pieces we have out. We keep a variety of art items and decor things on the shelves. It’s not a huge space, but we try to keep it organized enough so you can actually see what’s there. Mostly, it’s just us handling the day-to-day stuff, checking the stock and talking to whoever comes through the door. Some days are busy with travelers, other days it’s just quiet. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. People find us when they’re around. The lighting in the lobby can be a bit bright, but it helps show off the details on the things we sell. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years as more buildings went up around Sikandarpur. Dealing with art means there is always something to dust or move around to make room for a new arrival. It’s just how we spend our time here. If you’re ever near the hotel, you’ll see our shop right there in the lobby. We stay open pretty regular hours. It’s a small operation, really, just keeping the shop going. It is nothing fancy but we like being here.
