Our place is at Plot Number 53 in Sarup Garden, which is right in the Rajendra Park area. It’s mostly a residential neighborhood, so it is actually quite nice to work here compared to the loud industrial sectors. There are kids playing in the street sometimes and the neighbors are always walking their dogs past the gate. The building at number 53 is easy enough to find once you get into the lane. We have a small sign out front, but it’s nothing too big or flashy. Inside, it’s just a regular office space with a couple of rooms where we keep our maps and documents. The fans hum all day and we usually have the radio playing softly in the background to break the silence. Usually, we bring our lunch from home and eat together around midday. The water cooler is right by the door, and that’s where most of the talking happens when we take a break. It feels very local here, and we know the shopkeepers on the corner pretty well by now. Sometimes the mail gets delivered to the wrong house because the numbers in Sarup Garden can be a bit confusing for new drivers. We just walk over and grab it ourselves when that happens. It’s a simple way of doing things, but we have been here a while and it works out well for us. We just try to keep things moving and stay busy.
