Aspiring Mings

Our office is tucked away on the first floor at A 53/4 in DLF Phase 1. If you are coming from the main part of Gurgaon, it’s not too hard to find once you get into the right lane. We’ve been here for a bit now and we call this place Aspiring Mings. The space feels lived in. There’s a tea stall not far from the entrance where most of us head during the mid-morning break. The building is older but it stays cool enough in the summer. Inside, the desks are a bit cluttered with notes and chargers. We keep the curtains closed mostly because the sun hits the windows hard in the afternoon. It’s a small group of us here just handling the daily tasks that come through the door. Sometimes the internet is slow and we all end up talking while waiting for things to load. It isn't a high-pressure corporate environment. We just do the work as it comes. Usually, there is some music playing softly in the background to drown out the traffic noise from outside. Finding a parking spot near the entrance can be a headache if you arrive late. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood by now. It’s a practical spot for what we do and we like being in this part of town. Most evenings we see the same people walking their dogs or coming home from the metro station while we are locking up.
