Down in Laxman Vihar, specifically in Gali No 3 of Phase II, you will find our spot. It is a bit tucked away, so you have to look for the number 2000. This neighborhood is full of families and small shops, and we have become part of the furniture over the years. We spend our time looking after water systems and making sure things are running the way they should. It is not a flashy business with bright lights. Most of our work happens in the back or out at people's houses in the surrounding streets. Gali No 3 can be a bit narrow for the bigger vehicles, so we usually move around on scooters or just walk if it is close by. The shop is filled with various bits of plumbing and monitors that we use for our daily tasks. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to do our bit here in Phase II. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on, chatting with the neighbors. It is a very normal, local life we lead here. We know the water issues people face in this part of town because we live here too. There is no point in making things complicated. We just see what needs doing and we do it. It usually stays pretty quiet until the evening when everyone gets home from work and notices their tanks are low.
