Agarwal General Store

Our store is located in Gurgaon Village, Phase III. Agarwal General Store has been a part of this neighborhood for a long time. It’s the kind of place where the shelves are packed from the floor to the ceiling with everything from soap to bags of flour. It can be a bit hard to find things sometimes, but we usually know exactly which pile a specific item is buried under. We start our day early, opening the shutters before the sun is fully up to get the milk crates inside. The floor is old and a bit uneven, but it’s sturdy. We get all kinds of people coming in, from kids looking for sweets to elders buying their weekly groceries. It’s a busy little spot, especially in the mornings and evenings. We don't have fancy displays or bright neon lights. It’s just a plain shop with a lot of character. We spend a lot of time just talking to the neighbors and hearing about what’s going on in the village. Sometimes we have to move heavy sacks around, which is a bit of a workout. There’s a small desk where we keep our accounts and a radio that mostly plays old songs. It’s a simple business, but it’s an important part of our daily life. We just try to keep everything stocked and help people get what they need for their homes. That’s just life here.
