Our office is way up on the 11th floor of Tower B1 in Spaze I-Tech Park. The address is 1170A, and we are right on Sohna Road in Sector-49. 36 Trading And Construction Architectural Joint Stock Company is quite a long name for a group of us working in a high-rise. Being on the 11th floor gives us a great view of the Sohna Road traffic, which is usually backed up for miles. It is a bit different from a ground-level shop. We do a mix of trading and architectural planning here. The office is usually cluttered with architectural drawings and various samples of materials we are trading. We have some computers for the design work, but there are still plenty of hand-drawn sketches lying around. The elevators in this building can be slow, so we try not to forget anything when we head out to a site. It is a modern building, but our internal office feels very much like a working person’s space. We don't have any corporate mission statements posted on the walls. We just come in, deal with the architects, talk to the traders, and try to make sure the numbers add up. The air conditioning is usually blasting because the sun hits these glass towers pretty hard. We drink a lot of instant coffee and spend hours looking at spreadsheets and floor plans. It is a busy life in Sector-49, but we are used to the fast pace by now.
