Wedding Veda

We’re over at M-160 in Sector 51, Gurgaon. It’s a residential area mostly, so it stays pretty quiet around the office. Wedding Veda is the name we use for our planning work. We don’t have a big storefront with dresses in the window. It’s more of a home-base where we sit down with couples and look at calendars. Gurgaon is a fast-paced place, so we spend a lot of time stuck in traffic going from one venue to another. Most of our work happens on our laptops or over the phone with tent vendors and photographers. We’ve learned that weddings are never perfect, no matter how much you plan. Something always changes at the last minute. We just stay at our desks and try to solve the problems as they come up. We don't use those fancy wedding magazines for inspiration; we just look at what's available and what fits the budget. The office has piles of invitation samples and color boards everywhere. It might look disorganized to an outsider, but it’s how we work. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency in town. We just want to make sure the couples we help actually get to enjoy their day without worrying about the caterer. It’s just us doing our job here in Sector 51 and trying to keep things on track for everyone involved. That's the reality of it.
