Vishal Communication

DLF Phase 3 is always moving. It is a crowded part of the city, and our shop, Vishal Communication, sits right in the middle of it at T27/10. There are so many PGs and apartments nearby that we get a constant stream of young people. Most of them are working in the nearby cyber hubs and need their phones fixed yesterday. It’s a fast-paced spot. I usually have the radio playing in the background to drown out the noise of the traffic and the construction that always seems to be happening. The shop is small, so we have to be very smart about where we put things. I’ve got boxes stacked up to the ceiling in some corners. We do everything from screen replacements to selling second-hand phones. People are always coming in to ask about data plans or why their signal is weak. I try to give them a straight answer without any fluff. Sometimes I’m working late into the evening because that’s when everyone gets home and realizes their charger is broken. It’s a bit exhausting, but it keeps the business going. The street outside is full of food stalls, so there is always a good smell of parathas or momos drifting in. It’s a lively place to be, and there is never a dull moment when you’re working in Phase 3. We just keep the door open and handle whatever walk-ins come through that day.
