We spend most of our time here at Plot No. 791 in the Phase V area of Udyog Vihar. It’s an industrial complex, so things can get pretty loud during the day with all the trucks moving in and out around Dundahera. Our office is just one of many in this part of Gurgaon, but we’ve made it our own. Silver fish Trading LLP has been running from this spot for a while now. Most mornings start with checking the logs and seeing what needs to be moved or organized. The walk from the main road can be a bit dusty, especially in the summer heat, but you get used to it. Inside, it’s mostly just us handling the paperwork and making sure the inventory matches up. It isn't a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. We have some old desks and a few chairs that have seen better days. When the tea man comes around at eleven, we usually take a short break. The address might seem complicated if you aren't from around here, but once you find Phase V, it’s just a matter of looking for the plot number. We keep things pretty straightforward here. No one is wearing suits unless there is a very specific reason. It’s just work. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which gives us a minute to breathe. We just focus on what is in front of us.
