Fabricers

Fabricers is located at No. 1002 in Tower -1 of Uniworld Gardens on Sohna Road. It’s a bit different from the traditional market areas since it’s in a high-rise. We use this space as our main office and a bit of a showroom for our fabric collections. The windows are large, so we get a lot of natural light, which helps when we are looking at colors. We don’t have a big staff. It’s just a few of us handling the orders and talking to clients. Most of our business is done over the phone or via email. We have samples neatly organized in binders along the walls. It’s a quiet place to work compared to the busy streets downstairs. Sohna Road can be a nightmare for traffic, so we try to do most of our shipping in the early mornings. We don’t have any polished brochures or marketing slogans. We just show people what fabrics we have available. Sometimes we spend the whole day just updating our inventory lists. It’s a lot of data entry and checking stock levels. The kitchen area is small, but it’s where we spend our lunch breaks and talk about our weekend plans. We are just regular people trying to run a decent business. We don't aim for anything flashy. We just want to get the work done correctly and make sure the invoices match the shipments. It is just how we operate.
