Shalu Communication

Over here at M G Road, specifically in Mata Wali Gali near Sukhrali 7, you’ll find Shalu Communication. It’s a narrow lane, so it gets a bit tight when there are lots of people walking through. We’ve been set up here for a while now. Most people come in for phone recharges, or maybe a new SIM card, or just to fix a small problem with their mobile. It’s a small shop, and we’ve got shelves lined with cables and covers. It’s not very big, but it serves the neighborhood well. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out like everyone else. The lane gets quite lively in the evenings. You can hear kids playing and neighbors talking while we work. I try to keep the place tidy, but with all the small gadgets and paperwork, it’s a constant battle. People from Sukhrali know us by name, which makes the days pass better. We don’t have any big corporate signs or anything. It’s just a local shop in the gali. M G Road is always busy, but once you step into our lane, it feels a bit more like a community. We do what we can to help folks stay connected. It’s a simple business, nothing more. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the first neighbor to stop by for a chat or a recharge.
