Sesco India is based up on the 18th level of One Horizon Centre on Golf Course Road. It’s a very tall building and a bit more formal than where we started, but the work we do is still the same. We focus on renewable energy projects across the country. Even though the office is high up in a fancy glass tower, we are just a normal group of people trying to get more renewable stuff off the ground. Most of our days are spent on calls or in meetings, looking at maps and technical drawings. We have a small kitchen area where we all hang out for lunch and complain about the traffic on Golf Course Road. It’s a busy part of town, but the view from the 18th floor is actually pretty nice when the weather is clear. We try not to let the corporate environment change how we talk to people. We prefer to keep things simple and direct. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in this line of work, so our desks are usually covered in piles of documents. We don't have any scripted speeches or polished presentations. We just tell people how the technology works in a way that makes sense. It’s a fast-paced environment here, but we try to keep a sense of humor about it. Just a team of enthusiasts working out of a high-rise.
