First Offshore Wind Project Of India

Our office is way up on the 11th floor of Vatika Professional Point. It is right on the Golf Course Extension Road in Sector 66. Being this high up means we get a good look at all the new buildings going up around Gurgaon. We are working on the first offshore wind project for India. It sounds like a massive thing when you say it like that, but for us, it is just a lot of meetings and looking at maps of the ocean. The elevator in this building can be a real pain during the morning rush, so some of us try to get in early. We have a lot of charts on the walls and some models of wind turbines sitting on the desks. It is a quiet office for the most part, unless we are having a big discussion about logistics. We have been at this location for some time now. Sector 66 is always changing with all the construction. We don’t have any fancy mission statements hanging up. We just show up every day and try to figure out how to get these turbines into the water. It is a lot of paperwork and technical stuff. We are just a group of people trying to make a project work. Sometimes we stay late when things get busy. It is just part of the job. We don’t really do any promotional stuff, just focus on the wind project.
