We are located on the ground floor of the Unitech Trade Centre in Sushant Lok Phase 1, over in Sector 43. Even though the name Honeywell sounds like a huge thing you see on TV, this specific office is just where a bunch of us show up every morning to handle the local side of things. It’s a pretty standard Gurgaon office building. You have the glass front and the security desk at the entrance. Inside, we’re mostly sitting at desks with laptops, dealing with a lot of data and emails. We do a lot with building technologies and automation, so there’s always someone talking about sensors or software updates. The traffic in Sector 43 can get pretty bad during the evening rush, so we usually see a lot of people hanging around the lobby waiting for their cabs. It’s not all corporate meetings and fancy presentations though. Most days it’s just us trying to figure out a technical glitch or coordinating with the teams in other cities. We’ve got a small break area where the coffee is okay, and that’s where most of the actual talking happens. It’s a professional space, but we aren't robots. We complain about the weather and the commute just like everyone else in the Unitech building. We are just the local branch trying to keep things running smoothly for our clients in this part of India. We just stay busy.
