Richa Knits Ltd.

Richa Knits Ltd. operates out of Plot No. 5 in Sector- 7 at I. M. T. Manesar. This is a big industrial area, so there is always a lot of activity around us. We have a good-sized space here where we focus on knitting and garment work. The machines are pretty much going all the time to keep up with the schedule. Manesar is quite a distance from the main city, so most of us commute here every morning. It’s a professional environment but it still feels like a workplace where people know each other. We don't have any flashy slogans or big promises. We just look at the samples, set the machines, and watch the fabric come out. Sometimes there are hitches with the thread or a needle breaks, which is just part of the daily grind. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of what we make because nobody wants to send out bad stuff. The floor is usually covered in bits of yarn and lint, which we sweep up at the end of the day. It’s a lot of standing and moving around, so everyone stays pretty tired. We try to keep things organized at Plot No. 5 so we don't lose track of the different batches. Being in Sector- 7 means we are surrounded by other manufacturers, and we just focus on our own corner of the world. It’s steady work and we are glad to have it.
