Our place, Productive Technologies Pvt. Ltd., is out at Plot No. 742-d in Pace City-ii, Sector-37. It’s a bit of a drive for some of us, but once you get here, it’s a good spot for focusing on tech development. The building is a simple structure on a decent-sized plot. We have a main area where most of the computers are set up, and a back room where we keep the heavier equipment. It’s not a fancy office with a gym or a cafe. We usually just bring our own food and eat together around a big table. The work we do is pretty technical, involving a lot of testing and re-testing things until they work right. Sometimes we spend the whole day just looking at code or checking hardware connections. It can be quiet inside even when the area outside is busy with trucks and other businesses. We’ve got a few plants near the windows that someone tries to remember to water, but they look a bit sad. Most of the time, the desks are buried under manuals and cables. We don't really have a dress code or anything. People just wear what’s comfortable for a long day of work. It’s a practical environment where the focus is just on getting the day's list of tasks finished before it’s time to head home. The commute back is usually when we talk about what to do the next morning.
